Marina was born in Barcelona, Spain and moved to Wisconsin at a young age, but continued to grow within a nourishing family uniting Spanish and American culture. With a Spanish heart and American mentality, she returned to live in Spain as a young adult but realized her dream of physician assistant studies would better materialize in the United States. Now, with 20 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in acute care settings and emergency medicine, it is time to embark on serving her community with a more integrative approach, embracing the traditional patient/provider connection… y se habla español!
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, and then a Master of Medical Science degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is licensed in the state of Wisconsin and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Marina is also a member of the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants. Her latest studies included certification in Women’s Integrative and Functional Medicine.
Marina is a free-range PA who always prefers skies to ceilings. Her interests include camping, yoga, cycling, xc-skiing, paddle boarding, fine food, and traveling adventures. Loves include husband Dan, and a son, Liam. Gathering with family and friends fills the bucket.
