Teresa Grayvold was raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and developed a passion for science early on, particularly after discovering her interest in human biology during high school. She pursued an Associate of Allied Health Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology at Northern Michigan University and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and First Aid instructor during her studies.
For 38 years, Teresa has worked in the medical laboratory field, favoring small labs where she can be more involved in patient care. She has also gained experience in X-ray, dental assisting, and emergency medical care. Teresa has taught various levels of First Aid and Emergency Care, further sharing her knowledge with others.
Teresa enjoys crafting, traveling around the U.S., and spending time with her family. She has two sons—one is a pastor and the other a Front-Line Developer—and two grandchildren, with a third on the way in March.
Now joining the team at Nova Integrated Care, Teresa looks forward to contributing to patient care and continuing her journey in the medical field.
